Overview

Swimming up close with the whale sharks in Oslob is one of Cebu’s highlight destinations. It draws tourists from all around the world just to experience the most unforgettable 30 minutes of their lives. It is a unique wildlife interaction experience that will surely be one of your best adventure memories.

About 10 minutes from Oslob whale shark watching is a stunning tiered Tumalog Waterfalls. The waterfall, which is well-known for its beautiful splendor, falls down limestone cliffs, producing an entrancing curtain-like appearance. It is a well-liked site for visitors and nature lovers alike because of the calm, crystal-clear waters and verdant surroundings. Tumalog Falls, which is reachable by road and provides a cool respite, is frequently covered on trips that take in the breathtaking sights of southern Cebu.

End your tour at Oslob’s greatest gems, Sumilon Island. Only a short boat trip from Oslob, this gorgeous but tiny island has crystal clear water.  Since 1974, the island has served as a marine sanctuary and was the first underwater protected area in the Philippines. The abundance of marine life that floats in the pristine waters surrounding Sumilon Island is no joke. There’s no denying that the most well-known feature of Sumilon Island is its sandbar. The temperature, daytime hours, and season all affect the sandbar’s shape. A pristine lake and a mangrove-lined natural lagoon are two more sites worth seeing on the island.

The whale shark encounter will last for 30 minutes. After the encounter, you will have time to shower and change clothes before heading back to the van and proceed to your next destination which is the Tumalog Falls.

To reach Tumalog Falls, you will ride a motorcycle. Once you arrive, you can take a dip in the clear waters or capture photos of the breathtaking surroundings. When you're ready to leave, you will ride the motorcycle back to the van, which will take you to Bangcogon Wharf.
